Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what is and is not permitted when using Concilio. It applies to all users, including poll creators and poll respondents. Concilio is operated by Sita Carolina trading as ourconcilio.app (ABN: 99 246 620 165). By using Concilio, you agree to this policy. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

2. What Concilio is for

Concilio is a group scheduling tool. It is designed to help people find mutually available times by collecting availability from a group. Use of Concilio should be consistent with this purpose.

3. Permitted use

You may use Concilio to:

  • Create availability polls for genuine scheduling purposes
  • Share poll links with people who would reasonably expect to receive them
  • Collect availability responses for the purpose stated in the poll
  • Embed or share poll links through normal communication channels such as email, messaging apps, or internal tools

4. Prohibited use

You must not use Concilio to:

Deceptive or harmful conduct

  • Create polls to collect personal data under false pretences
  • Mislead respondents about the nature or purpose of a poll
  • Impersonate any person or organisation in a poll or response
  • Use poll data for any purpose other than the scheduling activity the poll was created for

Privacy and data misuse

  • Share or distribute respondent data to third parties
  • Use respondent names or availability data for profiling, marketing, or any secondary purpose
  • Collect data from respondents without a legitimate reason to do so

Technical misuse

  • Automate poll creation, submission, or any other interaction with the service without our prior written consent
  • Attempt to access, scrape, reverse engineer, or replicate any part of the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service, its servers, or related infrastructure
  • Attempt to bypass any security or access controls

Unlawful conduct

  • Use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation
  • Use the service to facilitate harassment, abuse, or harm to any individual
  • Process personal data through Concilio in a way that violates applicable privacy laws in your jurisdiction

5. Poll creator obligations

If you create a poll, you are responsible for ensuring that:

  • You have a legitimate scheduling purpose for the poll
  • Respondents are aware their availability is being collected
  • You use respondent data only for the purpose the poll was created for
  • You comply with any privacy laws applicable in your jurisdiction

6. Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove any poll that we reasonably believe violates this policy
  • Suspend or block access to the service for any user we reasonably believe is in breach
  • Take any action necessary to protect the integrity of the service or the wellbeing of its users

We will exercise these rights reasonably. Where practical, we will notify affected parties.

7. Reporting a concern

If you believe Concilio is being misused, please contact us at hello@ourconcilio.app. We take reports seriously and will investigate where reasonable.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Concilio after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
